Renaissance illustration — live videoconference

A two-hour talk about the moment the book's image changed hands: from the illuminator's brush to the engraver's burin. We will look closely at illustrated incunabula, see how a page is composed with woodcuts, and follow the trail of the workshops that invented the modern illustrated book.

Format: live videoconference, single edition, limited places. Preparatory reading included.

Access: by enquiry. Write to us from the contact page mentioning "Renaissance" and we will send conditions and registration.
